  1. Add the poultry place

    Choose a mapped coop, building, run, or relevant feature when one exists. Mark temporary places clearly and use the location note only for human context.

  2. Record useful capacity and infrastructure

    Use numeric comfortable bird capacity. Add power, run, heat, nesting, or roost details only when they affect how the place is managed.

  3. Choose the purpose

    Set a primary purpose, such as eggs, breeding, brooding, grow-out, meat birds, quarantine, or recovery, plus other relevant purposes.

  4. Add the active flock

    Record the bird group you want to follow, then add egg, feed, health, loss, hatch, move, or chore records as they occur.
